Colour Walk Fundraiser for Yarmouth Regional Hospital

Come out and join Yarmouth Hospital Foundation on Saturday, October 4th (rain date October 11th) at Gateway Park in Yarmouth for an all ages/abilities, family-friendly COLOUR WALK fundraiser that will be as vibrant as it will be fun! This will not be your average walkathon! Registered participants can expect a high-energy, fun filled afternoon with surprises and blasts of colour at every turn!
The Sou'West Walkathon is raising funds towards the $30,000 cost to purchase an electromyography (EMG) machine for our regional hospital. EMG testing plays a critical role in diagnosing nerve and muscle disorders, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, ALS, and more. Right now, patients must travel to Halifax for this critical testing; but with your support and the arrival of a neurologist at Yarmouth Regional Hospital this fall, we can bring this life changing service closer to home for families across the Tri-Counties!
