The provincial government released its $684.2-million capital plan for 2017-18 Wednesday.
It includes money for the new elementary school in Yarmouth.
But one major project has again been left off the list.
Ecole Wedgeport.
Argyle-Barrington MLA Chris d’Entremont says parents are getting frustrated.
He says for the last six or seven years Ecole Wedgeport has been at the top of CSAP’s list for major renovation of replacement.
“We see again it’s been overlooked while other constituencies are getting schools that they didn’t need. There’s nothing but politics beings played by this Liberal government and it’s showed by a new school in Karen Casey’s constituency and a new school in the Premier’s riding.
d’Entremont says enrollment at the P to 6 school has fallen to around 100 because of the school’s poor condition.
