Motorists will have to use the intersection of Starrs Road and Brunswick Street as a four-way stop a bit longer.
The groundwork, including the wiring and concrete bases are in.
Mayor Pam Mood says the poles and lights are next.
“Right now the groundwork is in. I think anyone who drives by would see the wiring. Everything underneath is all in i believe. We’re waiting on the structures to arrive and weather permitting we’ll get those in as soon as we can.”
Mood says the lights will remain green unless somebody is crossing through Brunswick Street.
The lights will be connected to sensor pads underneath the street.
The contract was awarded in late November for almost $189,000 to Black and MacDonald Ltd. to install the new lights.
