Two groups in Digby County received provincial support today aimed at seniors safety and security.

The Digby and Area Senior Safety Society and the Security for Seniors Association in Clare are each receiving
a $20,000 grant.
The money will help support home visits, workshops and awareness and information sessions on safety and health.
The programs are also designed to create opportunities in Digby County so seniors can become more active in their
communities.
Gordon Wilson, the MLA for Clare-Digby, made the announcement.
