Several individuals and a business were recognized for their role in beautifying Yarmouth.
Communities in Bloom handed out Mayflower Awards at last night’s meeting of Yarmouth Town Council.
The Comfort Inn won for their garden display.
Communities in Bloom Committee Chair Sandy Dennis says the Yarmouth Sea Cadets won the Spirit Award.
“The Sea Cadets, they clean up Water Street every summer for us. For Individual, it’s Les Barber. He has the community garden at Beacon Church. He does a wonderful job.”
The other award went to Dave and Barb Surette for the best streetscape property.
