The Yarmouth Junior A Mariners wrapped up a successful season opening road-trip with a 5-1 win over the St. Stephen Aces tonight.
There were five different goal scorers for the Mariners, who led 5-0 by the second period.

Matt Smith and Chris Goreham each had a goal and an assist, Aaron Maillet had two assists.
Jordan Messenger, Matt Barron and Mateo Short all scored their first goals of the season.
Leif Hertz got the win in goal, making 24 saves.
The Mariners outshot the Aces 43-25.
With two wins in their first two games, the Mariners return to Mariners Centre for their home opener Friday night against the Valley Wildcats.
In the night’s only other game, the Miramichi Timberwolves hammered Truro 6-1.
