A province-wide no-burn ban has now been eased somewhat.
Nova Scotia’s Department of Natural Resources has included all of the province in a restricted burn category.
Domestic brush burning and campfires are restricted to between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Campfires in licensed private, municipal and provincial campgrounds are now permitted.
The burn ban was put in place on June 24 due to extreme dry conditions in the province.
