Nova Scotia Swimmers will be taking to the water in three harbours tomorrow.
The United Way-Big Splash Three Harbour-fundraiser also includes an event in Yarmouth.
There will be a pancake breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on Killam’s Wharf.
Don Houston with the Department of Transportation in Yarmouth says a local organization will benefit from the breakfast.
“All proceeds from the breakfast will be going to the Yarmouth Life Skills here in the Yarmouth area. Five dollars gets you pancakes, breakfast and a little bit of coffee.”
Donations are being made to Life Skills because there is no United Way in Yarmouth.
Swimmers Laurie d’Entremont, John Bower and Bobby Lou Reardon will splash into Yarmouth Harbour at 7:15.
They then travel to Halifax where they will repeat the swim then it’s on to Sydney for another harbour swim at 6 p.m.
The Big Splash swim has been held for several years in Halifax.
The event has expanded to include Yarmouth and Sydney for 2016.
