The Yarmouth Junior A Mariners won their third straight game, 4-3 over the St. Stephen Aces Saturday night at Mariners Centre.
Yarmouth scored three times in the first five minutes of the game, with goals from Brendan Young, Matt Barron and Matt Smith.
But the Aces clawed back to make it 3-2 in the third.
Kyle Bergh would score an insurance goal for the Mariners late in the third on the powerplay.
The Aces added a late PP goal with 18 seconds left but couldn’t find the tying goal.
Leif Hertz made 20 saves for the win.
The Mariners next play in Truro on Wednesday night.
