The first big storm of 2017 is coming.
Environment Canada has issued a Winter Storm Warning for much of Nova Scotia.

They say many areas of the province will get snow and strong winds, starting Saturday evening.
In Yarmouth and Shelburne Counties, 30 to 40 centimetres are expected, and in Digby County it could be 15-25 centimetres.
Meteorologist Tracey Talbot says there will be a combination of different weather hazards that could be impacting us as the storm passes by.
Talbot says people should avoid making plans to go anywhere between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
She says there will be a lot of blowing snow and reduced visibility in many areas.
