RCMP say a Weymouth North woman found dead Thursday was murdered.
The body of 63 year old Lynda Anne Comeau was found shortly after 3pm in a home on Fort Point Road in Weymouth North.
Digby RCMP were called to the scene by someone who found Comeau’s body.
An autopsy performed by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Friday officially ruled the death a homicide.
No arrests have been made.
The RCMP Major Crimes Unit is leading the investigation, with assistance from the Southwest Nova RCMP Forensic Identification Unit, the RCMP Police Dog Service and Digby RCMP.
