We’re soon going to know the economic impact of a major event in our area.
The 2024 Congres mondial acadien brought thousands to Yarmouth, Argyle and Clare for events, concerts and more.
That included a Tintamarre parade through downtown Yarmouth, and a nationally televised concert from the Yarmouth Airport.
A report is being released about the benefits of the event to the region, it’s being presented in Argyle and Clare this month.
It was done by Le Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ).
The first session will be held at the Salle-Pere-Maurice LeBlanc theatre in Tusket on April 11.
The second is at the Clare Veterans Centre in Saulnierville on April 18.
The sessions will feature a question and answer period, and community members are invited to share their experiences.
