Work-related human trafficking in Clare.
RCMP say they’ve charged a 64-year-old Ontario man after investigating a business in Church Point.
They say a foreign national in Canada on temporary status was allegedly exploited for labour at the business.
Over the course of the year, the victim worked excessive hours with just $300 in compensation.
RCMP say he was threatened and performed additional duties.
The accused is facing charges including human trafficking, extortion and fraud under $5,000.
