Funds are being raised for a Digby County couple who lost everything in a fire.
Mel and Linda Deveau live on Highway 340 just outside Weymouth.
The fire broke out in the early morning hours on Sunday.
According to a GoFundMe, they did not have house or contents insurance.
The fundraiser has a $5,000 goal, and over $3,600 has been raised so far.
The organizer says all funds will go directly to the Deveau’s, and ease some of their financial burden.
