RCMP want you to ‘ease the rush’ in snow and slush.
They’re reminding drivers to go slow when winter conditions appear.
Inspector Jeff Mitchell of RCMP Traffic Services says drivers get more confident behind the wheel as the season goes on.
But he says snow and slush can hide ice, reduce traction and increase stopping distances.
You’re also reminded to clear all snow from windows, mirrors lights and the roof of your vehicle before driving, check forecasts and have emergency supplies on hand.
