Ten years of the ‘WE CARE Radiothon’ in Yarmouth.
Y95 partners with the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation to host the annual fundraiser for vital equipment.
On March 5, we’ll be raising money for an automated tablet packager for the pharmacy department.
Mary Surette with the foundation says the current one is nearing its end of life.
“When it goes down, they won’t be able to repair it, it’s about 12-13 years old,” said Surette.
She says all three area hospitals use it, so it’s important to healthcare in the region.
The Radiothon will also move back to its original location, the Yarmouth Regional Hospital.
Surette thanks the Yarmouth Mall for being the host the last few years.
