A huge milestone for Sidney Crosby.
The 38-year-old Penguins captain overtook Mario Lemieux for the most points in team history.
Crosby now has 1,724 points, adding a goal and an assist in Pittsburgh’s 4-3 shootout win over Montreal Sunday night.
He’s also now eighth all time in NHL point scoring.
The Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia native has three Stanley Cups in his career and two Olympic gold medals.
