The big day is almost here and as is tradition social media feeds are filled with the different markets and displays around the world.
When I was in Highschool, the arts department went on a trip to New York, At the time the city was still setting up the tree for that years Christmas celebrations outside of the Rockefeller Center. Since then I’ve hoped to one day return to the city to see the yearly tradition take place.
Here in Nova Scotia we send a Christmas tree to Boston as a thank you for their aid during aftermath of the Halifax explosion!
Across the pond and beyond, Traditions can vary vastly. making them a hit for travelers this time of year.
Whether it’s to see a real life Christmas village in Germany, or the beach BBQ’s and Seafood fests of much warmer Australia, There’s are destinations and traditions worth traveling to this time of year.
