The Yarmouth ‘Bean There, Ran That’ Marathon was held in sunny, hot conditions yesterday.
Stan Chen won the marathon, coming in first out of 11 runners.
The 32 year old had a time of just over three hours.
54 year old Rick Chalmers was second at just under three hours and 20 minutes, while 55 year old Thomas J. Mitchell was third.
29 year old Elise LeBlanc was the first female across the finish line, sixth overall.
In the relay, the team of Jack-e Goodwin, Sherry Goodwin, Arnie Goodwin and Chris Surette ran a time of three hours, 58 minutes and 19 seconds to finish first out of four teams.
35 year old Tyler Green won the half-marathon in just under an hour and 40 minutes.
The 10k was won by 16 year old Isaac Cull in just under 37 minutes, and 14 year old Taylor Muise won the 5k.
Ellie Hiltz was first in the 12 and under 5k.
All proceeds for the event go to the Yarmouth Hospital Kidney Dialysis Unit.
