The Yarmouth Junior A Mariners want to give back this Christmas.
Fans attending Saturday night’s home game against South Shore are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy.
Mariners Head Coach and General Manager Laurie Barron says the toys will be donated.
“Christmas is such a big thing for the kids. We want to make sure for anyone that is struggling that we can help out and get some toys, and hopefully make a happier Christmas for some kids.”
Barron says the toys will be given to a group that can distribute them in time for Christmas.
It’s the last home game for the Yarmouth Mariners before the break.
They play Truro on road Friday.
