The best musicians in the province are coming back to Yarmouth.
About 100 artists have been announced for showcase stages at Nova Scotia Music Week October 23-26.
Kelsey Whynot with Music Nova Scotia says Yarmouth is always a great host.
“We had such a great experience working with the local host committee, many in the tourism sector. When they approached us again this year, we just couldn’t say no. We’re so happy to be working with those folks again,” said Whynot.
This year stages can be found at the Rodd Grand Hotel, Haley’s Lounge, the Red Knight, the Yarmouth Fire Hall and more.
Yarmouth last hosted the event two years ago, and previously hosted in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2015.
“We’re really thrilled to bring people to Yarmouth and experience the region. We try to have Music Week during the shoulder season of tourism. We’re just so happy to be coming back.”
Whynot says there’s something for everyone during the four-day festival.
Awards are planned for the morning of October 26.
