You’re being asked to ‘stuff it’ Saturday.
An ambulance full of groceries that is.
Emergency Health Services will be holding a ‘Stuff An Ambulance Food Drive on Dec. 10.
It will take place at the Yarmouth Superstore from 11am to 3pm.
Marlo Nickerson-Hicks has been organizing the EHS drive in Yarmouth for 10 years.
“We have the best medics around ! They support everything in the community. We have the largest number of paramedics that show up at our food bank drive every year.”
Nickerson-Hicks says it’s not only food that’s collected for the Yarmouth Food Bank.
“We raise a lot of cash funds as well that can be used when they get low on something. We bring in probably on the of the largest, one donation at a time, in Yarmouth.”
The EHS mascot ‘Bearamedic’ is also expected to be there handing out treats for the kids.
