It’s one of Yarmouth’s signature events.
Thousands are expected to take in the Roaring 20s Antique Auto Club’s Classic Car Show and Cruise.
The show shuts down Main Street from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m Saturday, with the cruise happening Friday night at 7 downtown.
Dwayne Deveau with the club says up to 600 vehicles will be on display.
“We talk to a lot of the merchants in town, and they’re excited and fully staffed. They’re anticipating a big day. It’s huge for the downtown businesses, hotels, gas stations, restaurants, you name it,” said Deveau.
There are also vendors, live music and awards.
It’s the 51st car show in Yarmouth, it’s been happening downtown for about a decade.
“This year on top of the Corvette club joining us, the British Car Club is coming down with about 50 vehicles.”
The parade begins at the Yarmouth Mall Friday night at 7, while Saturday’s show runs from the Firefighters Museum by Porter Street all the way up to Forest Street.
