The leader of the Nova Scotia PC Party says the Queens-Shelburne riding is ready for change.
Jamie Baillie spoke Wednesday night at the party’s nomination meeting at Queens Place Emera Centre.
Thank you to everyone who came out last night to support @KimMasland, the next MLA for Queens-Shelburne! #nspoli pic.twitter.com/rl7gx81Azc

The riding was created in 2012 and is occupied by Sterling Belliveau of the NDP.
However, he isn’t re-offering in the next provincial election.
Baillie believes the riding is up for grabs.
“The NDP are no where. They are putting forward fantasy policies that no one is going to get behind. For the Liberal, they are all about cuts and telling us we have to take less every year.”
He says a PC-led government would focus on growth and job creation in the riding.
“In the South Shore, particularly Queens-Shelburne they have seen how devastating Liberal mistakes and Liberal cuts can be.”
Baillie says Stephen McNeil’s poor handling of the labour dispute with the teachers union as a signal that change is needed.
Kim Masland is the acclaimed candidate for the PC’s in Queens-Shelburne.
