A 32 year old lobster fisherman was airlifted to Yarmouth today.
Around 12:30, Joint Task Force Atlantic received a call from a vessel 15 nautical miles south of Clark’s Harbour.

The patient was safely hoisted by the #103Sqn Cormorant and transported to Yarmouth, NS

Sub Lt. Blair Gilmore with the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax says they assigned a 413 Squadron Cormorant helicopter to the area.
“To fly out to the vessel, where they successfully hoisted the patient and flew him to Yarmouth hospital to receive medical care.”
Sub Lt. Gilmore says the man was complaining about chest pains.
Details like his condition and the name of the vessel he was on were not released.
