Three local boys high school hockey teams competed at the Glen Murray Invitational in Bridgewater over the weekend.
The Barrington Barons had a great showing, making it all the way to the final yesterday.
They lost 6-1 to Park View in the final.
Barrington had a 7-1 win over Par-en-Bas to open the tournament, then an 8-1 win over Richmond, followed by a 5-0 loss to North Kings.
In the semis, the Barons defeated Avon View, the first place team in the other pool, 5-2.
The Par-en-Bas Sharks also had a 10-1 win over Richmond and a 4-3 loss to North Kings.
The YCMHS Vikings lost 6-0 to Park View, 3-2 to Avon View and 6-0 to West Kings.
In league play, the YCMHS Girls were shutout 7-0 at West Kings on Friday night in their first league game of the season.
