Warnings are in place through Yarmouth, Shelburne, Digby, Queens, Lunenburg and Halifax counties.
Between 35 and 50 millimetres could fall, the higher totals are expected in Yarmouth and Digby.
Environment Canada says to watch out for heavy downpours and flash flooding.
