Rachel Homan is a five-time Scotties Tournament of Hearts champion.
Homan and Team Canada defeated Kerri Einarson and Team Manitoba 6-1 in the final Sunday night in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Fort William Gardens was sold out for the match, over 3,400 were in attendance.
Homan’s team from Ontario defeated Jennifer Jones in last year’s final.
Team Nova Scotia, led by Christina Black had a great run to the semifinal.
The team from the Halifax Curling Club fell 9-8 to Einarson’s rink on Sunday afternoon.
N.S. has not won a Scotties since Colleen Jones finished off four-straight in 2004.
A round of applause for both teams! What a semifinal from Manitoba’s @EinarsonTeam and Nova Scotia’s @TeamBlackNS.
