It’s a chance to help youth who need a home.
The ‘Coldest Night of the Year’ fundraiser is happening in Yarmouth for the seventh straight year.
This Saturday, over 40 people on 12 different teams will walk, as they collect donations toward a $20,000 goal.
The money goes to SHYFT Youth Services, and organizer Shanna Grant says it helps keep them going.
“We are a residential shelter, and we also have outreach services and a new position as of last year, a housing navigator. This money will keep supporting all three of these programs,” said Grant.
The event starts at 4 p.m. at NSCC Burridge campus.
