The Department of Natural Resources have extended a no-burn order for the area.
Yarmouth, Shelburne and Digby counties, as well as the south shore and valley all fall under the ban.

This means no fires are permitted anywhere in those areas.
DNR will update fire restrictions today at 2pm.
