MHL Team Eastlink dropped their first game at the Eastern Canada Cup in Ontario yesterday.
They were beaten by Team CCHL White 5-1.
Truro’s Campbell Pickard had the lone goal for the MHL.
Mariners forward Matt Barron and defenseman Noah McMullin are on the team, and Head Coach/GM Laurie Barron is an assistant coach.
The tournament continues today with MHL Team Eastlink suiting up for two games.
At 12:30PM Atlantic, they take on Team LHJQ St. Louis before facing off against Team OJHL Oates at 6:30PM Atlantic.
