Nova Scotia is cutting more red tape.
The Canadian Federation for Independent Business gives our province an ‘A minus’ grade in their 16th annual report card.
That’s the second highest score in Canada.
Factors include the government making red tape reduction a priority through things like the business navigator program and reducing doctor administration burdens.
Report card co-author Duncan Robertson says cutting red tape helps boost business productivity and give entrepreneurs time and resources they need.
He says with the threat of U.S. tariffs, eliminating provincial trade barriers would be another way to reduce the impact to our economy.
