A Weymouth man is facing 29 charges after a loaded firearm was seized.
The 34-year-old suspect was arrested inside a business in Conway, Digby County on Saturday.
He was wanted in conneection to a theft investigation, when officers arrived the man told them he had a firearm in the bag he was wearing.
The man was taken into custody, he appeared in Yarmouth Provincial Court on Monday.
His charges include Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Unsafe Storage of Firearm.
RCMP say the Forensic Identification Service and the National Weapons Enforcement Support Team are supporting the investigation.
