A national company is expanding it’s presence in Yarmouth.
Canadian Tire will increase from 50,000 square feet to over 87,000.
Yarmouth Mayor Pam Mood tells CJLS News the expansion is welcome news.
“A beautiful transformation, much needed for this area. I’m sure it’ll include more jobs and we’re thrilled about this”
Mayor says the move reflects what’s happening in Yarmouth.
“It’s community confidence but it’s also consumer confidence. You don’t make a big move like that unless you have confidence in the community and the continued growth”
She says it will be a big boost to the local economy.
