The Salvation Army in Yarmouth will launch its annual Christmas Kettle Campaign on Monday.
Kettles can be found in many locations, just listen for the ringing of the bell.
Captain Mike Mailman says it’s a major fundraiser them.
“The Christmas Kettle campaign in conjunction with our letter campaign populates our budget not just for Christmas but for the entire year when people come to us and ask for help in any capacity.”
Cpt. Mailman says their goal this year is $100,000.
“I never worry but I always want to make sure people know we are out there ringing the bells again this year.”
He says the generosity of local residents and businesses comes through every year.
The kettle campaign covers Yarmouth and surrounding areas.
