Mariners Doing Well At Eastern Canada Cup Junior A Challenge


Yarmouth Mariners are producing for Team MHL South at the Eastern Canada Cup Junior A Challenge.

Aaron Maillet scored in the first game yesterday, a 3-1 loss to the LHJQ team.

Then, Noah McMullin and Matt Barron scored as they fell to Team OJHL Oates 3-2.

Team South play again this morning at 11 against OJHL Nieuwendyk and tonight at 7:20 against Team CCHL Yzerman.

Team MHL North split their first two games, winning 4-2 over Team NOJHL, then losing 4-3 in a shootout to Team OJHL Hawerchuk.

Also, the Yarmouth Mariners moved up two spots to number nine in the weekly CJHL Top 20 rankings.
