Special award winners have been announced for the 2017 Yarmouth County Athletic Awards.
There are 12 winners, male and female in six categories.
The Athletes of the Year are Allie Berry for basketball and Derek d’Eon for volleyball.
Youth Athletes of the Year are Vincent Surette for baseball and Emma Corporon for basketball.
Coaches of the Year will go to Nicole Gushue for athletics and Gary Baxter for baseball and basketball.
Mike Needham and Michele Bullerwell are the Officials of the Year.
The Fairplay Award will go to Minna Stewart and Evan Saulnier.
Volunteers of the Year are Milton Bourque and Jen Hood.
The awards will be presented at a ceremony at Ecole Secondaire de Par-en-Bas on Friday, November 17th.
