The ESDC/ESPB Clare Loup won Girls Highschool Hockey Regionals in Berwick, Feb 17, 2023.
They beat the Bridgetown Hawks 2-1. Renee Melanson scored the winning goal, assisted by France Boudreau, with 27 seconds left in the 3rd. Isabel Doucette also scored.
The team beat the West Kings Wolverines in sudden death overtime in the semi-finals on Feb 16th, 4-3 to advance to the championship game. The winning goal was scored by Adele Comeau and assisted by Brooke Boudreau. Camryn Vacon, Isabel Doucette, Sydney Reddick also scored with assists from Allie Dugas and Cloe Comeau.
D2 Highschool Provincials will be hosted in Clare Feb 24, 25, and 26th at the Centre Sportif, Universite Sainte-Anne.
