Yarmouth Rural RCMP are investigating after an abandoned vehicle was discovered in a lake on Highway 308 in Bell Neck.
In an email, Cpl Dal Hutchinson says a Chev Aveo was found with the back end of the vehicle partially in the lake on a sharp
turn near the Armstrong Road.
There was no one nearby.
He said fluids were leaking from the car into the lake and that the Nova Scotia Department of Environment was contacted.
The Eel Brook and District Fire Department and EHS were also on scene.
Hutchinson says the investigation is continuing and if anyone may have witnessed what happened or has any information, they are asked to
contact the Yarmouth District RCMP at 902-742-9106.
