It’s a chance to help the homeless and get some exercise.
SHYFT house is getting ready to host its ‘Coldest Night of the Year’ fundraiser on February 25th in Yarmouth.
It’s a family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving the homeless.
Adam Dolliver with the SHYFT House says it illustrates just how cold it is for those experiencing homelessness.
“We also walk for those who’s days are a battle to house and feed their families. We walk for those who’s nights are filled with fear and frustration. Anyone could lose their footing and become homeless as well,” says Dolliver.
It’s a nationwide initiative that’s raised over 57-million dollars.
