Richard Donaldson is the new Warden of the Municipality of Argyle.
A swearing-in ceremony for the new council was held tonight in Tusket.
Donaldson is a long-time council member and the longest serving currently at the table.
He represents District 6 which includes Argyle Head.
Danny Muise was the other nominee for Warden, but Donaldson was chosen after a vote.
Muise was voted in as Deputy Warden, with Guy Surette as the other nominee.
Aldric d’Entremont was the previous Warden in Argyle but was defeated by Glen Diggdon in the election.
