A man has been charged after shots were fired in Shelburne County this week.
Fifty-two year old Steven Edward Goreham of Lower Clark’s Harbour is charged with firearms-related offences.
The incident on Tuesday night triggered an emergency alert.
RCMP say around 6 p.m, shots were fired into the air at a property on Centreville South Side Road in Clark’s Harbour, after a man had a dispute with five other people.
No one was injured, and the suspect left the scene.
Around midnight, he was located at a nearby home and surrendered peacefully after a short negotiation.
The shotgun believed to have been used in the incident was located by a police dog near the scene.
Goreham will appear in Shelburne Provincial Court today.
