Three individuals and two teams will take their place in the Yarmouth sports hall of fame tomorrow.
The Yarmouth Town and County Sports Heritage Association will host the induction dinner.
It’s the first since 2018 due to the pandemic.
Association Director Gloria Goodwin says it began in 1997.
“And we’re going back to the original spot. The Lions Club on Parade Street will host the dinner this year. They’ve been very good to us over the years,” says Goodwin.
Builder/athlete Mario Ross and track and field star Jim Rideout will be honoured, along with the late Don Parnell in the media category.
The 2007 Yarmouth Midget ‘double A’ Mariners and the 1973 Mosquito Gateways will also be inducted.
They both won provincial championships.
