A popular Halloween attraction opened its door last night in Clark’s Harbour.
As with the past 4 years, volunteers have transformed the Seaside Heritage Centre into a
haunted house.
Mayor Leigh Stoddart says tonight is special at the haunted house.
“This evening is kids night from 7-9. We generally keep the lights up a little bit, so they can see around . We try not to scare them too much, but we make it interesting. “
Mayor Stoddart says the popular belief is that the building is haunted.
He says two men have claimed to have seen a ghostly apparition of a woman vanish through the walls.
The haunted house at the Seaside Heritage Centre is also open tomorrow and Saturday night from 7 to 9.
There is a $7 admission. All of the proceeds are used to make the house even scarier next year.
It’s the final night tonight for the Carnival of Horrors at the Barrington Exhibition Grounds.
Tickets are sold between 7 and 9pm.
