Premier Kathleen Wynne is painting a rosy picture of Ontario’s economy midway through her four year term. Wynne says the unemployment rate is at its lowest level in eight years and the number of people employed in Ontario is higher than before the recession hit in 2008. She says Ontario’s economy is expected to be one of the fastest growing in Canada over the next two years. Wynne adds the province remains on target to balance the budget by the 2017-2018 fiscal year.
