The Municipality of Shelburne has a new Chief Administrative Officer.
Warren MacLeod has been hired to fill the position after the departure of previous CAO Trudy Payne.
“I’d like to thank the Council for their trust in appointing me as CAO of the Municipality of the
District of Shelburne and look forward to working hand in hand in navigating the challenges
ahead and making Shelburne the place everyone wants to live, work and explore,” – Warren MacLeod.
For the past year MacLeod has held the role of Director of Economic Development for the Municipality.
Before that he was head of Regional Development for Highlands and Islands Enterprise in the Argyll & Islands region of Scotland and was involved in managing and developing an online B2B eMarketplace for the global recycling industry.
MacLeod will take over from interim CAO Ken Smith on August 15.
