The Bluenose II will dock in Yarmouth next month.
The ship will be in town as part of the Travel Media Association of Canada conference June 22nd and 23rd.
Emily Sollows, the Communications Director for Bluenose II says they are excited to be back.
“We always enjoy going to Yarmouth. Love sailing past Cape Forchu and visiting the town and museums. There is so much seafaring history in Yarmouth, so it’s always a pleasure for the crew to visit,” says Sollows.
Tours of the ship will be offered this year.
“We will be having open decks on Thursday, June 23rd. Unfortunately with how the tide works, we won’t be able to have people aboard during the day, but we will be open from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.”
After departing Yarmouth, the ship will sail into the port of Shelburne.
