The largest female minor hockey tournament in Nova Scotia returns to Mariners Centre this weekend.
Chicks With Sticks is back for the ninth straight year this Friday to Sunday.
16 teams in four divisions will take part including three teams from Yarmouth.
The Yarmouth Mariners Midget team, along with Western Riptide White Atom and Peewee squads will represent this area.
There are many teams from the Halifax/Dartmouth area, some from the Valley and one from Pictou.
Action begins on Friday morning at 11.
Opening ceremonies are scheduled for 2pm Saturday.
There will be a skills competition on Sunday morning, followed by the championship games for each division.
