Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby brought the Stanley Cup to Nova Scotia over the weekend for a parade in his hometown of Cole Harbour.
Long time NHL referee Don Koharski says Crosby has matured a lot since he first came into the league.
He compares Crosby to Wayne Gretzky in the way he’s been able to handle his emotions more and says most great players are like that because of the extreme pressure to perform game in, and game out.
Thousands filled the streets in Cole Harbour to see Crosby with the Stanley Cup.
Koharski calls Crosby “a class guy and a good guy who doesn’t forget where he comes from”.
This is the second time Sidney Crosby has brought the Stanley Cup back to Cole Harbour.
