In the coming weeks many town and municipalities will be swearing-in their new councils.
The Municipality of Argyle has decided to break from the norm and hold the event at a different location.
CAO Alain Muise says this year they decided to combine a couple of events.
“One being the Experience Argyle, the other being the swearing-in ceremony. The ceremony will be taking place at Salle Père-Maurice-LeBlanc at École secondaire de Par-en-Bas.”
Muise says it’s fitting to combine the swearing-in of the new council with “Experience Argyle”,
“It’s been going on three years. It’s been celebration of food, music and community essentially. It’s to thank volunteers for their time and effort and to
remind us all why we work hard to make Argyle a place we’re proud to call home.”
